As a Consulting Manager at Pyrovio, you will play a pivotal role in leading consulting engagements, managing client relationships, and providing strategic insights to drive business growth. You will work closely with a talented team of consultants to deliver high-impact solutions and contribute to the continued success of our diverse clients ranging from small and medium size enterprises to large Fortune 100 enterprises primarily focused on the Energy and Utilities capital portfolio and project management business.

Engagements are usually longer in duration and allow Consulting Manager to oversee the initial assessment, solution development and implementation of recommendations. Engagements center around strategy development, continuous process improvement and transforming IT and business intelligence capabilities of our client's businesses.

Responsibilities:

In general, the Consulting Manager will perform the following job responsibilities in addition to others as required for each project:

  • Lead and manage consulting projects from inception to completion, ensuring the delivery of high-quality solutions that meet client objectives.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships by understanding their needs, providing strategic guidance, and delivering exceptional service.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative strategies, solve complex business problems, and drive transformational change.
  • Conduct thorough research and analysis to identify opportunities for improvement and growth.
  • Develop and present insightful recommendations and deliverables to clients at all levels of the organization.
  • Mentor and coach junior consultants, fostering their professional development and growth.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to continuously enhance our consulting services.
  • Document Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for the current as-is situation, and track KPIs during and after implementation of to-be recommendations.
  • Develop new knowledge in strategy development, continuous process improvement and transforming IT and business intelligence capabilities to support our client initiatives.

General Consulting Manager Qualifications:

Qualified candidates for Consulting Manager Level positions will have the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in technical field with five years of professional experience; Graduate Degree preferred.
  • Proven track record of at least [3 years] in management consulting or a related role.
  • Previous experience with Energy and Utilities capital portfolio and project management and/or Construction Management experience preferred, not required.
  • Strong leadership and project management skills, with the ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
  • Client-focused mindset with a dedication to delivering value-added solutions.
  • Proficiency in Energy and Utilities industry-specific tools and software preferred (e.g., Unifier, OPPM, P6) or experience with cost and earned value management systems.

Travel Requirements:

  • Depends on the assignment most currently remote.
