We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Coordinator to join our team, assist the client, and build our business through superior service. This individual will play a pivotal role in supporting the delivery of our construction portfolio and providing data related to the projects’ performance. From project launch to closure, this person is the central figure in organizing project data and reporting. The ideal candidate will have a strength in business analytics, project management, and an understanding of the construction industry to compile information returned from the field, generate reports, and organize the project portfolio. Knowledge of the Lean Construction Institute and the Lean Construction body of knowledge will be highly valued.
Key Responsibilities:
- Be the central source for project data and performance reporting: Receive project information from the field, compile reports, organize data, generate data visuals.
- Organize the construction project team launches with notifications and date tracking of activities.
- Work closely with project managers and teams to identify areas for process improvement and efficiency gains.
- Collaborate with senior management to develop and refine optimal project strategies and assignments.
- Monitor and report on the progress of construction Lean initiatives, providing insights and recommendations.
Qualifications:
- Formal education in business analytics, construction, and/or project management. Advanced degrees and certificates preferred.
- Competent in MS apps and Power BI.
- Proven experience in compiling information, generating reports, and supporting fact-based decisions.
- Understand construction terminology and general practices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Advanced coaching and training skills, with the ability to engage and motivate teams.
